If you have a crazy idea for your character or a couple of characters on the site, but don't want that idea to be counted as part of their normal storylines, you can roleplay it in this board. Maybe you want to see what your character would be like as a different gender? Maybe you want to re-write their history to see where they end up. Or, perhaps, you just like the idea of two characters interacting but know that it's impossible for them to have done so in real life?

This board is the only board where everything is allowed. You can have a go at roleplaying a canon character (no matter whether you are the accepted creator for it - or if it's the right timeframe). You can roleplay any characters you have previously killed off. You can roleplay by yourself between your own characters - it is totally and completely up to you. No rules apply, here in the Alternate Reality board.

Please remember, that anything created in this board does not exist in the rest of the site. This includes plot trackers - anyone your character interacts with on this board should not be included in their plot tracker unless they have also interacted on the normal roleplaying boards.

Please feel free to post it wherever you like.
Staff, members and guests are all welcome to spread the word of Aludium and post our ad on as many forums as they can (in the appropriate locations provided by those forums). Simply use the codes below to post on the forums you find. Remember to check the code you've chosen and whether or not it will work on the given forum. Motion ads are unlikely to work on basicly coded sites. We have therefore provided static options of all motion ads.

IV. Advertising Rewards
It's not free labour.
We don't just ask our members to post our name about the place for free! For every time you place our ad out on a forum somewhere, you can claim +10 Credits. Simply send the below form to the admin team each time you post the ad (you can post several in one form, if you've posted it more than once) and your advertising credits will be added to your final monthly total, ready for the monthly payout.

While site advertisement is part of the responsibilities for each staff member role, staff members can also claim the +10 credits per advertisement posted.
