At Aludium, we like to celebrate the achievements of our members. This might be personal achievements in how they, as a member, have contributed to the site and its staff, or it could be writing achievements in the creation of an amazing character or engaging thread. Each month, we raise a glass and celebrate two characters (male and female), a plot, a thread and a staff chosen member to receive a pat on the back and +300 Credits for their success and dedication on the site. In order to keep things interesting and constantly changing on the site, our monthly awards are staggered. Each winner is still shown for a month, before the next winner is chosen, but we confirm the winners of each category at different stages in the month. For example, the Female of the Month winner, is whichever female character has shone for us between the 12th of the previous month and the 12th of this one. That way, we have an exciting new announcement for our forum every four days, or so.
To nominate or vote for a member, character, plot or thread, simply use the codes below and submit them through to the admin team. On the days that we name a winner for each category, the results sent to us will be accumulated, calculated and quantified. So, you can vote all month round for your favourite and your votes will be counted up at the next announcement day. You can also put forward a nomination for the Staff Pick Award. While this category is specifically chosen by our staff team, you're welcome to point our eyes in a particular direction if you think there is a member that deserves our recognition. Our moderation team are only human and sometimes we miss things - so don't be afraid to give a shout out regarding a member that you think deserves a pat on the back.

Whatever the reason, if we, the staff, believe that there is a character on the site that we recommend keeping an eye on for great things in the future, it may become the character of the month...

The plot of the month is our shout out for the best character dynamic on the site. This might be a romance, a rivalry, a bro-mance in the making or any other kind of relationship or planned plot. It can be held over multiple threads and can be either still in the planning stage (if detailed and explained thoroughly on the plotting boards) or already well under way on the in-character roleplay boards. Either way, the best plot dynamic will end up here when the award winner is chosen...
